THE Larks shook off their recent disappointments with a strong performance against the league leaders, before the game was abandoned in injury-time.
The home side were unlucky not to take the lead within 10 minutes. Then, after a spell of possession from the Magpies, the Larks got their first goal. Archie Ferris held the ball up well and Max Williams finished beautifully.
The lead was doubled by Eben Mortimer-Taylor.
