WIMBORNE were held by Bemerton Heath Harlequins in their first home game of the new year.
It was Bemerton who blasted out of the blocks to take a third-minute lead when George Higgins made space on the edge of the area to drill home.
Wimborne had keeper Ross Flitney to thank as he twice made sprawling saves to deny Daniel Young and George Britton.
Wimborne came back strongly as Lewis Beale fired inches wide, Harry Morgan turned and volleyed wide and Josh Carmichael’s header was cleared off the line.
