LEATHERHEAD scored a late winner to bolster their place in the top four of the South Central Division, beating their nearest rivals Raynes Park Vale at Grand Drive.
A big crowd watched a close-fought first half, with Ibrahim Olutade twice going close for the Tanners with headers, while Amadou Tangara made a couple of good saves to deny Vale an opening goal.
In the second half, both teams had free-kicks in dangerous positions, but they were wasted.
