A SCRAPPY, rain-soaked game saw City of Liverpool claim all three points from Trafford.
The home side’s keeper Sam Booth performed heroics, making several crucial saves, while the first half saw two Liverpool goals chalked out for infringements.
The visitor’s Elliot Morris was a thorn in Trafford’s side down the right flank, and it wasn’t until the 22nd minute when Niall Cummins headed a Damola Sotona left-wing cross wide that the home side had a clear chance.
