HYTHE lost their fourth successive match as Merstham came away with a win at Reachfields.
The visitors took just three minutes to score their goal, as a corner was headed powerfully into the net by captain Dean Gunner.
The rest of the match followed with few cutting-edge chances for Hythe, but a number of close opportunities for Merstham.
Having won just one of their past seven games, Hythe will be hoping to put their bad run of form to bed sooner rather than later.
