A DEFIANT Gorleston side held Basildon to a draw at Emerald Park.
The visitors took the lead through a seventh-minute penalty after a foul from a long throw, Ramiah Mills converting.
Ten minutes later, Gorleston were level when Jacek Zielonka’s corner was headed in by George Keys. A second Basildon penalty in the 24th minute, awarded when keeper Jake Jessup fouled Samir Ali, saw Ali convert to put his side back in front.
