Isthmian Division One North play-offs round-up

Isthmian League

Both away sides were successful in Tuesday’s Pitching In Isthmian Division One North play-off semi-finals

With only two points separating second to fifth, tight games looked likely. Bowers & Pitsea needed penalties to win at Felixstowe & Walton United. Josh Hitter’s stoppage time goal for Felixstowe took the tie to extra time but Bowers recovered to progress, aided by David Hughes’ two saves in the shootout.

All the goals between Bury Town and Brentwood Town arrived in extra time. Shad Ngandu’s rolled in a third at the death to seal a 3-1 success for Brentwood at Ram Meadow. It was their fourth away win in a row, they were also victorious at Bowers’ Len Salmon Stadium in October.

That venue hosts the final on Saturday May 4, KO 3pm. The winners will be promoted to Isthmian Premier.
