Isthmian Division One South East play-offs round-up

Isthmian League

Chichester City proved the shock result of the night to send them into the Pitching In Isthmian Division One South East play-off final, in an evening of late drama.

The Lillywhites finished 20 points behind hosts Ramsgate, who had ended their 13-game unbeaten run 10 days previous. On a memorable night, Chichester stopped Ramsgate adding to their 106 league goals (eight of them against City) with a 1-0 win thanks to Mo Jammeh’s 87th minute strike.

Three Bridges also enjoyed success on the road on Tuesday. They trailed at Sittingbourne at the break, but an Ibrahim Jalloh penalties and Noel Leighton’s bundled winner, also in the 87th minute, sends them into the final.

The winners will be playing Isthmian Premier football for the first time in their history. The final takes place on Friday May 3 at Three Bridges’ Jubilee Field home, KO 7.45pm.
