A DOUBLE from attacking midfielder Kyle Carey took Coventry Sphinx to an opening day win over Shepshed Dynamo and their biggest margin of victory in the NPL Midlands.
The home team were dominant at Sphinx Drive with debutant Shay Willock providing a focal point and Carey causing havoc with Andre Williams and Stan Dube.
Callum Ballinger opened the scoring in the 28th minute with a fabulous curling effort into the top corner from 20 yards after the Dynamo had hit a post against the run of play.
