BURY Town return to the top of the table with a hard-fought win over Witham Town.
The Blues continued their strong start to the season as two first-half goals were enough to give them victory over a visiting side that battled hard but eventually left with nothing to show for their efforts.
The home side took the lead after just 19 minutes when Joe White played a good ball through to Luke
Brown out wide, and his ball into the box was slotted home by the waiting Eathan Mayhew.
