COVENTRY Sphinxhanded Sporting Khalsa their second defeat of the season to secure their third maximum thanks to goals from Roan Newey and Iddriss Fuseini.
The hosts shaded a close first half, but weren’t able to test Khalsa keeper Brandon Ganley with shots from distance from Kyle Carey and Shay Willock. Simeon Cobourne’s shot flashed wide and the game was deadlocked at half-time. Sphinx weathered some pressure, before Newey collected a misplaced pass out of the Khalsa defence and smashed the ball home.
