■ NORTHWOOD notched their first home league win of the season thanks to an 81st-minute penalty from Archie James.
In-form Stotfold had more possession in the early stages, but it was the Woods who threatened more with Troy Perez- -Duah forcing the first save from keeper Liam Gooch.
Woods keeper Hafed Al Droubi tipped over an effort from Rio Da Silva and the Eagles wingman also saw his shot clip a post before Al Droubi saved again to deny Tommy Reynolds. The second half saw both defences on top and any chances well dealt by both keepers.
