BURY Town’s unbeaten run came to an end as Brightlingsea took a deserved win to knock them off the top.
Bury started the game on the front foot and took the lead after six minutes when Ollie Canfer sent a ball to the far post and Cemal Ramadan was on hand to find the back of the net.
But Brightlingsea were unfazed and soon grew into the game.
With 22 minutes gone they were level when the Blues gave the ball away to Teddy Collis and he went on to equalise with a good finish.
