■ THE first half was a scrappy affair, with both Willand centre-backs on a yellow card. It was clear that the Rovers manager would have to calm them down to avoid a second-half sending-off.
In the first minute of the second period, Exmouth took the lead through a straightforward tap-in for Tom Bath.
But Willand levelled in the 65th minute as new signing Bailey Kempster slotted the ball in after and Ashton Hewitt had drilled a ball into the six-yard box.
All in all, it was a very scrappy game of football with points shared in the Devon Derby ...
