■NORTH Ferriby were handed their first defeat in eight games by a resolute Stocksbridge.
The winner came early on courtesy of Paul Iggulden in the ninth minute – his header was judged to have crossed the line, much to the hosts’ dismay.
The visitors kept possession well in the opening 45 minutes, looking for a second to hammer home their advantage.
North Ferriby showed some promise late in the half but were let down by their final ball.
