■WALTHAMSTOW’S bid to break into the play-off places remains on course after victory over Mildenhall Town.
The first half was an even end-to-end encounter which saw both keepers tested without the deadlock being broken.
As the game went on, it looked like neither side was going to do enough to deserve all three points but the visitors had other ideas.
With 16 minutes left, Louie Johnson’s effort was blocked, with the ball falling to the feet of Tayo Oyebola who fired into the back of Josh Pope’s net.
