■ CITY maintained their play-off bid after a resounding second-half performance.
All three goals came in the final 20 minutes after a relatively even opening period at Claines Lane.
Rugby went closest to breaking the deadlock when Trey Charles burst through, but he was denied by Charlie Wise. However, the dynamic changed after the restart, and Jordan Lymn was soon firing a good chance over.
