■ GUERNSEY remain in the danger zone but picked up three vital points with a win over fellow strugglers Metropolitan Police.
Although the hosts dominated, it was the Police had the first chance of the game, but Josh Addison made a fine block. After 36 minutes, Sam Murray forced an excellent save by Liam Beach, but the goalkeeper was beaten, on the rebound, by Simon Arnold just before half-time. Chances were at a premium after the break, the tenseness of the situation no doubt a factor, but Guernsey grew in confidence defending their lead.
