HELSTON picked up a vital point with a well-deserved draw against promotion-chasing Evesham.
The visitors should have taken the lead mid-way through the first half when Ben Whiting made a fabulous save but Levi Steele contrived to hit a post from three yards out.
In the 38th minute, Sam Stayt was pulled down in the Evesham box and Tom Payne, back with Helston, sent the goalkeeper the wrong way from the spot.
