It was a real blood and thunder game on a pitch that was only just past fit to play on, but both teams went at it with clear intentions, but it was goalless at half-time. The second half saw Nomads come close as a Jacob Fenton free-kick was saved by Ross Durrant, but it the ball was collected by debutant Sandhu, who scored from 18 yards out after 59 minutes.
