■ YATE Town ended Falmouth’s six-game winning streak in a thrilling contest.
Yate started slowly with just Tomlinson and McCootie coming close. Just before half time, Wayne Nedermani gave Yate the lead. Moments later, King Baidoo was fouled in the box, but Morgan Coxhead saved Lloyd James’ penalty.
Yate continued to have the upper hand and King Baidoo increased their lead when he finished coolly after breaking free of the Falmouth defence.
