ROCK-BOTTOM Cinderford staged a classic ■ smash-and-grab job to keep alive their faint hopes of beating the drop.
The visitors led at half-time through a giveaway 14th-minute goal. Two defenders tried to leave a bouncing ball to keeper Mack Allan, but Alex Bonthron nipped between them to set up Jaxson Hundt.
Bashley pounded the Cinderford goal in the second half but were kept at bay by a series of terrific saves by keeper Lewis Adams.
