NANTWICH held on for the points after surviving a late Bootle fightback.
The Dabbers started brightly as Byron Harrison’s ball found Callum Saunders near the back post for the opener.
Bootle’s Jay Roberts floated in a free-kick which caused trouble but Connor Rankin headed wide.
Kelvin Mellor was denied scoring a second for Nantwich Town thanks to a timely Ben Dufton Kelly challenge.
Saunders then extended Nantwich’s lead after receiving a ball from Aiden Roxburgh.
Bootle did hit back through a Ben Dufto...
