■ FELIXSTOWE&Walton United slipped to an opening-day defeat at Waltham Abbey.
After an even first half, the visitors’ best chance came just before the break when Jacob Lay rounded Robinson, only for the keeper to recover superbly and block what looked a certain goal.
Waltham Abbey broke the deadlock in the 51st minute. Delandes saw his strike rebound off the far post, and Eyoma pounced to fire home from 12 yards.
