■ MONEYFIELDS opened their season with a dream start, earning a hard-fought win at the SkyEx Community Stadium thanks to goals early in each half.
The opener came in the second minute when Jordan Pile struck low from outside the box, drilling his shot into the bottom corner beyond the diving keeper.
Their advantage was doubled seven minutes into the second half, as Faris Khallouqi beat his marker and finished neatly at the near post from close range.
