■ GRAYS spoiled Takeley’s Isthmian League debut with a convincing win.
The hosts went ahead after 23 minutes when Jayden Silcott-Brown’s clever cross from the left was clinically finished by Casey Nolan-Samuels. Nolan-Samuels was central to Grays’ best moves, and his flick-on struck George Pullen’s hand in the box, allowing Callum Fitzer to smash home the resulting penalty for the lead.
