FROME Town made the perfect start as the Robins breezed past Tavistock in the season opener.
A goal-of-the-season contender opened the scoring when Albie Hopkins let fly from 30 yards, giving visiting keeper William Howard no chance as the ball flew into the top corner.
The Lambs had no opportunity to show off their attacking threat with Harry Lucas and Warren Maidment being standout players in the defence.
Archie Ferris made it 2-0with his header looping into the back of the net after a cross from the left.
