DIDCOT slipped to the bottom of the table after suffering a narrow home defeat to Exmouth Town, who netted the crucial first goal and grittily ground out the win.
The Railwaymen started brightly but both Owen James and Kenny Hedges were thwarted by visiting keeper Chris Wright.
Exmouth had shown glimpses of promise, but the goal was unexpected, Matt Wright’s looping header back across goal dribbling into the bottom corner.
