■ FAVERSHAM Town held on for all three points despite a late Hastings United fightback. The game began quietly, with neither side showing much adventure going forward. The strong wind made aerial balls unpredictable, forcing both teams to keep play on the ground.
Faversham took the lead in the 12th minute through Eniye Amgbaduba and, with chances scarce, doubled their advantage just after the hour mark.
