■ A FIERY contest at the Moatside saw both sides reduced to ten men as Merstham and Cray shared the points in blustery conditions.
Chances were scarce in the first half, with home keeper Rob Tolfrey bravely denying Hayden Velvick after 11 minutes. Ben Shroll then headed wide from a corner in Merstham’s best opening before the break, as the swirling wind made aerial play unpredictable.
