HOUNSLOW hosted a closely fought encounter that ended level, as newly promoted Bedfont Sports held Hanworth Villa to a draw.
The visitors took the lead in the 18th minute when Sam Merson netted his sixth league goal of the season, sweeping in off the right post from a smart counterattack.
Merson remained a constant threat throughout the first half, but Hanworth failed to add to their advantage and were made to regret several missed chances as Bedfont steadily grew into the game.
