■ WALTHAM Abbey cruised to victory. They took the lead in the 10th minute when a cross from the left was caught well by Nicholas Brown on the edge of the box to fire into the net.
Gorleston equalised two minutes later. From a corner, Ryan Curtis turned the ball back in and Alby Matthews diverted it into the goal.
Just after the half-hour mark, a crossfield ball was misjudged by a defender and Brown drilled it into the net.
