■ HITCHIN Town moved into the play-off places with a big victory at Thame United.
The opening quarter of an hour had been even, but the Canaries struck after 17 minutes, Kye Tearle running onto a long through ball and stroking the ball past Jonny Pettitt.
Early in the second half, a defensive mix-up ended with a home player beating his own goalkeeper for the second goal. Hitchin added to their lead after 72 minutes, Tearle getting his second of the afternoon.
