■ CAMBRIDGE City boosted their hopes of climbing out of the Isthmian League North relegation zone with an impressive victory over Heybridge Swifts.
The first half was tight and tense, but the home fans at the FWD-IP Community Stadium were lifted when George Smith calmly converted a penalty to give the Lilywhites a deserved lead before the break.
