WELWYN Garden City left Bedfordshire with a valuable point after a draw at Leighton Town stemmed the red and whites’ momentum at the top of the league.
The play-off-chasing visitors started well and early pressure brought a right-sided corner which was headed home from close range by Aiden Read in the fourth minute.
Unbeaten so far this season, Leighton were determined to find a way back into the match.
