■ FROME Town defeated Bideford in torrential rain at the Sports Ground.
The visitors took the lead after five minutes when Bideford keeper Leo McCormick saved low to his right but David Duru followed up to slot home the rebound. Despite the conditions, both sides created chances – Warren Maidment fired over, while Alex Moyes saw a shot saved by Kyle Phillips and Scott Robinson headed wide.
