■ MALDON & Tiptree made their numerical advantage count in an extraordinary game that saw Waltham Abbey finish the first half with eight men.
Kieron Cathline and Edwin Mensah both saw red after collecting two yellow cards, meanwhile former Maldon man Matt Price was shown a straight red in between.
Maldon made the breakthrough just before the break through Tom Eastman before Abbey were reduced to eight.
The second half was a case of attack v defence. Anisius Lewis tapped home and Tevan Allen repeated the trick.
