■ FOR the first half hour it was all Lowestoft, but against the run of play Bowers took the lead. Freddie Price set it up and when the ball stuck under George Chenery’s foot and Michael Faulkner netted from close range.
Lowestoft were trailing at the break, but they soon turned things around in the second half.
In the 52nd minute, Kyle Hay-lock and Aaron Bullent combined to release Sam Aldous who drilled high past Harry Carter.
