■ HITCHIN came back from 2-0 down to rescue a point against Beaconsfield.
An entertaining opening 20 minutes saw Beaconsfield take the lead through Zak Fraser-Grante who bundled the ball home after Josh Marcon’s header had hit the bar.
Beaconsfield then went on to take control for a period. Zidan Akers caused the Hitchin defence countless problems with his strength and pace. As the half drew to a close Beaconsfield made it 2-0 with Manu Oke-William heading in from a corner.
