HALLAM failed to make their first-half chances count as Heaton Stannington claimed all three points at Sandygate Road.
Ollie Russon stung the palms of the visiting goalkeeper in the opening ten minutes and Brodie Litchfield saw an effort go wide of the target shortly after.
The Stan opened the scoring seven minutes into the second half as Connor Walker won a corner, and then delivered a perfect cross for Dan Capewell to find the back of the net with a header.
