■ STEVE KING marked his 500th appearance in the Deal Town dugout with a deserved win, celebrating a milestone reached after first joining the club in 2015 and stepping up as manager in 2022.
His side earned a well-deserved victory over Beckenham Town, who were made to pay for a sluggish start.
Deal struck first after 11 minutes, Ashley Miller firing the hosts ahead as Beckenham struggled to find their rhythm. The visitors gradually improved and were rewarded in first-half stoppage time when George Porter stabbed home.
