CAMBRIDGE City ex-tended their impressive run to seven straight wins and eight games unbeaten with a composed victory over struggling Brantham Athletic.
Despite controlling much of the early possession, City found chances hard to come by in difficult conditions.
The breakthrough finally arrived in the 62nd minute thanks to an instant impact from George Smith. Timing his run perfectly to beat the offside trap, he delivered a low cross for Shaun Mavididi to turn in.
