■ TWO late goals rescued a point for Witham against Tilbury at a rainy and windswept Simarco Stadium.
After a largely scrappy first half was evenly contested, Tobias Braney put Tilbury ahead in the 42nd minute and Dan Trendall extended the lead after 58 minutes.
Witham have made a habit of scoring late goals and today was no exception.
Ziad Bakaar gave the home side hope in the 87th minute and an excellent strike by Archie McFadden completed the scoring just before the final whistle.
