■ THE points were shared in this Kent derby, despite hosts Ashford United playing over 45 minutes with ten men as the hosts moved out of the bottom four.
In an even start at the Green Box Stadium, it was Ashford who went in front midway through the first half.
Gary Lockyer powered an effort past Will Heater to put his side ahead with his 100th goal for the club.
However, after a booking early on, Louis Collins was shown a second yellow card on the cusp of half-time to reduce the hosts down to ten men.
With a man advantage, Sheppey enjoyed more posse...
