■ A GOAL headed in from a corner at the near post by Jack Troak in the 20th minute gave the visitors a deserved half-time lead.
Hassocks defended in numbers but counter attacked with pace as Bay gave the ball away far too frequently.
Hassocks centre-back Dan Turner almost doubled the lead early in the second half with a header that smashed against the post.
A more committed Bay start to put the defence under pressure, and Alfie Bloom-field finally drove the ball home from six yards to level the match.
