■ BARTON Rovers fell to a disappointing defeat against London Lions after being on the crest of a wave with back-to-back-to-back home wins.
A changed Rovers side was named by Chris Robson and it failed to pay off as it took just five minutes for The Lions to open the scoring, Max Davis curling his effort into the top corner.
Jack Mattey added a second in the 24th minute, slotting into the bottom corner, after a spell of poor defending from the visitors.
