BELPER Town relied on James Tague to rescue a point against basement club Bedworth United, and the Nailers lost ground on league leaders Carlton.
The Nailers almost went ahead in the fourth minute when Tague struck the inside of the post with a shot from 18 yards, but it was the hosts who stunned Belper by taking the lead.
A clumsy challenge by Belper defender Ioan Evans not only earned him a yellow card but the resulting free-kick by Sam Hewitt was deflected past the Belper keeper by Elliott Parrott.
