HERTFORD closed the gap on leaders Leighton after coming from behind for a hard-fought win.
The hosts started well with a Marcus Painter header and Noah Mosanya shot both saved by Dan Kosier.
After that the visitors came back into it with Leo Farruch and Kyal Williams having efforts well-saved by James Callan and Sidney Ibie twice just missing the target.
