■ AFTER sacking Colin Reid after just three games, managerless Walthamstow bounced back to winning ways with a midweek victory over Heybridge Swifts.
They continued this bounce in form with a solid victory over fellow strugglers Takeley.
After an even first half, in which neither side really threatened, Amaru Kabia broke the deadlock on the stroke of half-time, beautifully dinking the ball over the Takeley keeper.
