MALVERN TOWN strengthened their promotion push with a hard-fought victory at Mousehole.
The visitors started brightly and took the lead after 20 minutes when Charlie Johnson’s direct ball over the top released Piers Walton, who fired confidently into the net from just outside the penalty area.
Malvern doubled their advantage in stoppage time of the first period, breaking quickly as Ben Baxter crossed from the left.
Joe Bullock’s effort was saved, but Yuir Qunitas reacted to score the rebound.
